I completely believe this is microsoft messing around, not Plantronics. I'm relieved I can get it to work, but what utter nonsense to put people through.

This is driving me mad as it settles on Mute on so I then can't hear anyone and sit there for ages trying to figure out how to turn it off. With the legend, if i keep the answer/end button pressed for 2 seconds until I hear the low tone boop, the mute/unmute works normally. I have a Plantronics Voyager Focus UC - BT600 - if the phone is ringing as soon as I pick the headset up from the table (for instance) it says Mute on, Mute off, Mute on, Mute off, Mute on. more likely Teams changed something in how they recognize the button pressĪnyone else seeing this issue? any ideas what's happened?Įdit: I just got the legend to work too. To mute/unmute the headset, push in the volume/mute button. To decrease the volume press the volume button down (up if wearing headset on your left ear). while the manual mute button gives you a privacy option when you need it. To increase the volume, press the volume button up (down if wearing headset on your left ear). Fully adjustable mic tucks up and out of the way when not in use. Interestingly the same does not work with the legend. The rotating earcup dials of the new Xbox Wireless Headset provide an intuitive way to change volume and game/chat balance. Somehow, the 5200 or teams registers that a call is now ongoing and the mute button reverts to its usual behaviour. It would simply do nothing.Īfter two days of cursing and trying a whole bunch of stuff, I realised that I can get the mute button on the 5200 to work with teams, IF I press the call answer/end button one time in the call. rather than my usual double tone alert, in a teams call, I would only get a single tone on both my voyager legend and my 5200, and no action on muting. My company forced an windows upgrade to 1909 this week, and right after, my mute button stopped working with teams.
